As Chair of the refurbishment effort at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, I want to commend Amanda Wood/Model Spaces for all the guidance she gave us to help update our Sanctuary during the summer of 2013. Amanda worked with us to create an overall design which built upon the architectural strength of the space, i.e., a design which played upon the sweeping curves of our beautiful beamed ceiling. A new and larger pastoral platform/choir loft was created with curved lines. A color palette was developed with warm brown tones for the walls, carpeting, flooring, and chairs. The neutral walls were accented by features using the five seasonal liturgical colors (green, blue, purple, red, and gold/white). The large wooden cross was framed by 2″ glass tiles in the five colors and seven small windows at the back were fitted with stained glass. A six-foot banner, which mirrored the stained glass pattern, was hung at the entrance. The two historical documents (mission statement and founding members list) were framed in neutral brown tones with matting that had been hand-colored in the liturgical colors; these were hung on either side of the banner. A wooden credenza for the entrance was painted the darkest brown and a ribbon runner in the five colors was created and placed on top. Lighting was enhanced with the addition of new LED bulbs using our old fixtures which had been repainted. We so appreciated Amanda’s professional advice on so many aspects of this project and her willingness to be mindful of cost. She steered us to wonderful vendors/contractors and the whole refurbishment was completed in eight weeks. I have to admit that a project of this scope and size required more than good taste from the church committee–professional expertise was essential to creating the right design with the right materials, and the right contractors. I highly recommend the creativity and services that Amanda Wood and the staff at Model Spaces provided to Immanuel!
Amanda Wood is a terrific designer and we’d recommend her without reservation. She has both a terrific sense of style and, much more importantly, the ability to listen carefully to her clients and understand what it is they want to accomplish. We’d use her again in a heartbeat.
Model Spaces brought tremendous value and creativity to a remodel of our floor. As a result, we were able to accommodate 20% more staff without increasing our square footage. Amanda and her team listened well to our needs and provided both layout and design finishes that expressed our corporate culture with timeless style.
I have worked with Amanda on the interior design of a house 8900 square feet in Finisterra. It was pleasant experience working with her. She was always on time for all of our meetings. Her job was to help in choosing all the colors, doors, ceiling details, lightings and plumbing fixtures, kitchen design, Carpet, precast and fire places design, out side pool and driveway finishes. She has strong and pleasant personality.
I will work with her again.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the great job you did as the lead designer for Volvo of Tucson’s dealership project. Your attention to detail has really made our dealership stand out about above our competition and our customers love the space! I think our public restrooms get more comments than a four star hotels! I would highly recommend your commercial services to anyone looking for design help on their project!
You’re the best!
